Many Americans see a title such as In Allah They Trust and raise an inquiring or skeptical eyebrow, but Kamran Karimi is not being melodramatic with this thought-provoking title. As an Iranian born and raised in Tehran, but having become a patriotic American Christian, he knows whereof he speaks. He has fully experienced both the Islamic and the Western cultures and brings a viewpoint frequently lacking by those whose life-experience is primarily American.

Kamran’s perspective is timely. The events of recent years – largely prompted by the infamous 9/11 attacks – have produced a renewed world focus on Muslims and their Islamic religion. America and most of the civilized nations now engaged in the global war on terror can emphatically attest that the Islamicists they face from the so-called “religion of peace” are anything but. Furthermore, there are some 5,000 “honor killings” each year whereby parents kill their own children or family members who supposedly bring “dishonor” to Islam through the “crime” of blasphemy (i.e., dating non-Muslims, wearing western garb, or converting to another religion).
